RAGE DROPPING SEPTEMBER 15TH 2011

At QUAKECON 2010 RAGE was shown. People thought it would be DOOM 4 but it was RAGE. At the event the game was on show. The game is a first person shooter with driving elements which will be available on the PC, Mac, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 in Europe on September 15, 2011. A IPhone version was also shown off at the event and getting alot of good feedback.

Rage is set on a postapocalyptic Earth in the midst of recovering from an asteroid collision, where humans have emerged from underground "arks" much like the vaults in the Fallout games. Players assume the role of a survivor who has emerged from an ark and has been subsequently outfitted with an array of performance-enhancing nanotechnology and some powerful ranged weaponry. It is based on the id Tech 5 engine, the latest development toolset crafted by the company's chief technical officer John Carmack.

Keep an eye out for this game because it looks very impressive!!!!!

RED FACTION! Just the name reminds me of countless nights with pals playing the multiplayer and plowing through the single player campaigns!!! Now with ARMAGEDDON on its way in MARCH 2011 and looking very tasty.

METAL GEAR SOLID: RISING WILL START A NEW SERIES IN THE MGS FRANCHISE

The new Metal Gear Solid: Rising will be released at some point this year but also this game will be "chopping" its way into the Metal Gear Solid franchise , producer Shigenobu Matsuyama said.

“MGS: Rising is not a side story. We’re aiming for two Metal Gear Solids, making a series out of another standard,” Matsuyama told Japanese publisher Enterbrain.

The game Features the cyborg ninja Raiden and the guiding principle of “zan-datsu” (“cut and take” with your nice sword), MGS: Rising is already set to be an innovation in the series.

Matsuyama revealed MGS: Rising will connect the dots between Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4, and Raiden was his ideal choice for a main character simply because of his sword (which I think will become more of a main character than Raiden himself).

MGS: Rising is due out later this year for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

DEAD RISING 2 DELAYED!!!!!

Those of you who are counting down the weeks, days and seconds until Capcom’s Dead Rising 2 comes out (ME being one of them), WILL HAVE TO WAIT!!!!! Apparently reports on the internet have said "CAPCOM have apparently put a bit more time on the clock for the release of the game". The highly-anticipated sequel, which was previously planned for an August 31 release, will now ship on September 28 in North America and October 1 in Europe. SO only delayed one month, which is a relief because I waited TOO LONG for Alan Wake!!! (but the wait was worth it)
